Developing Global Citizens.
Currently, I have been working with my students on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provided by UNESCO in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, Quality education, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. I have been working with my students in order to accomplish all 17 goals as much as possible. I have involved my students in doing many projects, awareness programs, and activities that are connected with these 17 goals focusing on social, economic, and environmental sustainability. One of the projects that we have been doing for the past two years is the “Hunger Project” in order to accomplish the first two goals “No Poverty” and “Zero Hunger”.
I train my students to become global citizens through various activities including the student exchange program. Under my guidance, my students are now working on finding solutions for complex issues, such as global conflicts and public health. I also teach my students 21st-century skills.
Every year we conduct a student exchange program with the schools in the US. We send some of our students to US schools for a month to make them an international experience. This program helps our students learn the cross the cultures between the USA and China. As a student exchange program, we receive many students from US schools to come over to our school to learn cross cultures, languages, traditions, and our educational system. We involved our school students to get along with the US students in order to learn across cultures between the two countries.
We conducted a study abroad program at ShiShi high school and I played a major role in counseling students for their higher studies abroad.

I motivated and encouraged my students to go on an exchange to the USA, my students went on an exchange to Utah in the USA for two weeks.
A counseling program was conducted for my students for international studies abroad. I played an important role in providing counseling to students for their higher studies abroad.
I encouraged my students to participate in the North American Curriculum Center sharing session held at ShiSh High School, Chengdu.
I motivated and encouraged my students to take part in the APEC Junior’s national semifinal competitions. My students took part in the competitions and won the prizes.
I motivated and encouraged my students to take part in the Green Path Program conducted at ShiShi High School in 2017. A presentation was given by the representatives of The University of Toronto. All of my students benefitted from this program.
A counseling program for the parents was conducted in ShiShi High School in 2018, on the three-year plan for further education. I played an important role in counseling the parents for their children’s higher studies abroad.
ASDAN Business Elite Summit was conducted in Chengdu on December 8th. I motivated and encouraged my students to take part in this event to learn and gain experience in business study. My students actively participated in this event and gained knowledge and experience.

Parents’ meeting was conducted in ShiShi High School, Chengdu for the purpose of communicating and exchanging children’s educational problems, closing the distance between parents, teachers, and classmates, improving understanding, jointly analyzing the positive and negative factors of children’s learning and growth, set goals, take measures, combine home schools, form the combined force of school family and social education, and achieve our common goal. I played an important role in guiding and counseling the parents.
In order to develop creativity and social skills, I motivated and encouraged my students to take part in the photography competition held at ShiShi High School, in which my students actively took part and won prizes.
The first English reading contest was conducted in our Great Wall High School in 2020. I motivated and encouraged my international department students to take part in the competitions and my students won the prizes.
