Chennai, Anna Auditorium on 2nd February, 2002.

Even though I traveled to many different parts of our state Tamilnadu to speak among the students and to motivate them through the public programs, one of the unforgettable events in my life is a motivational program by the title “A tribute to centum” that took place at Anna Auditorium, Chennai, Tamilnadu on 2nd February 2002. The program was organized by Centum First Educational System whose director was Mr. Chandrasekar and the manager was Mr. Iraianbu Bosco (Phone: +91-9443413347) who has currently been the Correspondent of Little flower matriculation higher secondary school, Sathy, Erode District, Tamilnadu. The program was organized for 11th and 12th standard students of Chennai. The program was headed by Mr. RameshPraba who was an official of SUN TV Network Private Limited and Kalaigar TV as well. The chief guest and the special guest speaker of the program was Dr. Ku. Gnasambantham (Phone & WhatsApp:+919842452050), who is the Professor of Tamil, a popular public speaker, actor, and educationalist. The subject speakers were the Tamilnadu 11th and 12th standard textbook authors including Dr.V. Balasubramaiam, the Professor of Chemistry, the Scientist, and the Chairperson of Tamilnadu 11th and 12th standard Chemistry textbook and I was the speaker for Mathematics. The expected number of students for the program was just 500 to 600, but 1500 students attended the program. The program was scheduled only for half a day in the morning from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. As per the schedule, the program began at 9:00 AM and all other subject speakers started speaking until 12: 00 PM. My turn was from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM as the last speaker. I started speaking to the students on how to score centum in 12th standard mathematics. I initially started motivating students and told them many useful tips and innovative ideas on how to score centum in mathematics. I solved many math problems in short-cuts and using Vedic maths. I provided them ideas on how to answer all the questions within three hours. I also solved some of the questions on the stage using OHP and white board. As I was teaching, the time was about 1:00 PM and I had to stop my lecture. But as my lecture attracted all students and was very innovative and interesting, all the students who were listening to my lecture didn’t want me to stop but to continue further. So I extended my teaching for a further half an hour until 1:30 PM. But still the students wanted me to continue teaching more innovative techniques in the afternoon also. But no students brought the lunch with them for the program and wanted to learn from me in the afternoon also. That was a critical situation to everyone gathered there. We could not continue the program in the afternoon without lunch for the students. Understanding the situation, the manager of the program Mr. Iraianbu Bosco took a smart decision right away. He suddenly approached some of the restaurants in Chennai and bought lunch packs for every student who was attending the program. The lunch was served to all students and my teaching continued even in the afternoon from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. At the end of the program, hundreds of students came to me to clarify their questions, to get guidance, and to get autographs from me as well. That was an unforgettable event in my life that I ever experienced. As a result of my motivational program, I came to know by phone calls, and letters from hundreds of students that they scored centum in Mathematics in the 12th standard public examination. I am really proud that I became a hero among students on that day, by my innovative and inspiring teaching. Mr. Iraianbu Bosco (Phone: +91-9443413347) was the one who worked very hard to make the program a grand success.
