I joined M.Sc., Mathematics degree course
As I had pursued only an undergraduate degree (B.Sc.,) in Mathematics while I was teaching in Siddhartha School, I wanted to upgrade my studies by pursuing a post-graduate degree from Erode Arts College. So, I conveyed my desire to the administrative officer of the school Madam Jayabharathi (Phone number:+91-9865212020). When my desire was conveyed to the administrative officer, I was asked to meet the President of the school Doctor Jeevanandham and the Correspondent of the school Engineer Manoharan to get some advice from them. On the very next day, I met both of them at Dr.Jeevanandham’s clinic and explained to them the desire of pursuing my post-graduation degree. On hearing my desire, Dr.Jeevanandam and Engineer Manoharan appreciated my desire and suggested me to do my postgraduation degree course through the distance education mode while teaching at school simultaneously. Moreover, they came forward to bear all of my post-graduation course tuition fees. I was really happy about their generosity and thanked them for their kindness. At the same time, I told them that I wanted to pursue a postgraduation degree by attending college as a regular student so that I might get real-world academic experience. On hearing my reply, they felt good about my decision and asked me if I could teach at Siddhartha school as a part-time teacher until I complete my postgraduation study. I consented to do so. Dr. Jeevanandam, Engineer Manoharan, and Madam Jeyabharathi’s intentions were to help me financially and uplift my career. That was the reason they asked me to teach in their school even though I was a college student. What a luckiest person I am to have worked under such great leaders who cared and were concerned about my personal development and future career! I am really grateful to all of those three leaders who were the motivating factors in my personal growth. I joined Erode Arts College (Autonomous) (Now the name has been changed to Erode Arts and Science College) as a postgraduate student in the year 1997 majoring in Mathematics and continued teaching Mathematics at Siddhartha school as a part-time teacher. I spent the income that I earned in school on buying college textbooks and study materials. I also got a government scholarship throughout my postgraduation course which was spent on my studies. The post-graduation degree course was a good feast for my learning hunger. I worked very hard in my post-graduation in order to get good grades and gain rich knowledge. I learned lots of innovative methods in my post-graduation course in order to apply them in my teaching. I was an active student in the classes. The Vedic Math methods that I had already learned in my under-graduation course helped me a lot to solve the post-graduate math problems in a different way for which I got lots of appreciation from my professors. I approached the Math problems from a different perspective and by using Vedic math. All of my Professors had special respect for me for my dedication, sincerity, and involvement in the lessons. I was always the first in solving difficult-level math problems and puzzles in the classes. As I had gained teaching experience before I joined my post-graduation degree, teaching seminars in my classes was not a big deal for me but indeed was a piece of cake. I was highly appreciated by my professors for being very active and intellectual in the classes and, presenting seminars in effective ways. I taught seminars as professional teachers do. So I won the hearts of my professors with my effective teaching. I am thankful to my professors who taught, encouraged, and motivated me in my teaching career. The professors who taught me post-graduation subjects are as follows:
Mr.Ramasamy the Head of the Maths Department,
Dr. M.Chandrasekaran, (Phone Number & WhatsApp:+91-9843245057)
Dr. Senthilnathan, (Phone number & WhatsApp: +91-9443890756)
Mr. Shanmugasundaram, (Phone number & WhatsApp: +91-9842768852)
Mr. Karthikeyan,
Mr. Rajan, and
Mr.Ravichandran.
During my post-graduation degree, not only I developed problem-solving skills but also developed the skills to solve math puzzles and games. Later, these skills had been very useful for me to teach and engage my students in my own classes. On seeing my problem-solving skills and talents, my Professor Mr. Ramasamy introduced me as a trainer to teach math, at a training center in our town where 12th-grade graduated students were trained to take part in Tamilnadu Professional Course Engineering Entrance Examination (TNPCEE). I trained students in the training center from 1997 to 1999. The Engineering Entrance Examination coaching classes were held at Al-Ameen Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Karungalpalayam, Erode. The training center was headed by Mr. A.Lakshmikandhan who was the teacher at Arulneri Thirupani Mandram Higher Secondary School, Vairapalayam, Erode, and the Secretary Mr. Poosappan who was the science teacher at Kamaraj Municipal Higher Secondary School, Erode. I was very proud to be a trainer at Engineering Entrance Examination Training Center while being a post-graduate student. I felt it was a great privilege and honor for being introduced by one of my Professors as a trainer in the coaching center. I was the one and only student in the Maths department of our college to become a student-teacher for Engineering aspirants. As a result of my innovative and effective teachings, 80% of the students out of 500 whom I trained were enrolled in the top Engineering colleges all over India. Besides studying in college, I used to go to Professor Senthilnathan’s (Phone number & WhatsApp: +91-9443890756 ) home each weekend to have an academic discussion with him and to gain more knowledge in Math. Once when I was discussing with Professor Senthilnathan about the Prime Number system, we discussed that there are several different ways to figure out if a number is prime or not. But there is no general formula or pattern has been discovered yet to generate prime numbers. I intended to invent a general form of a prime number system and have been doing research for many years to invent the general formula to create prime numbers. For that, I have been studying many math books to invent the general form. I hope and pray that I will invent a formula for a general form of prime numbers and create prime numbers in the very near future. During my post-graduation study, my sister Suguna who was mentally affected was staying with us in our home as she does now. As she is mentally affected and had been undergoing several medical treatments, she used to scream and behave out of control from time to time in our home. That was a very big disturbance in my preparation for my post-graduation studies. We needed to control her always by giving her medications during the night and day. That situation was not favorable for me to prepare for my Post Graduation course. I went to V.O.C park nearby my home in the very early morning hours at 5:00 a.m. to prepare for college Math in calm places under trees. In this way, I was able to prepare my lessons and was able to score good grades in the semester examinations. In my final year post-graduation degree course, I had to do a project in order to qualify for the final semester examination. I chose the topic Stochastic Process and my Project guide was Professor M. Chandrasekar (Phone Number:+91-9843245057). I worked very well on my project with the help of my project guide and at the end of the semester, my guide wanted me to submit my project in a grand manner. My project presentation was held in a big conference hall of our college in front of all students of our Math department and professors. I presented my project in a unique and effective way in front of hundreds of students and professors. The external examiners, my professors, and my classmates were impressed by me a lot by observing the way I presented my project to the examiners. I am proud to say that my project & VIVO-VOCE was awarded the highest score in the whole class (The consolidated mark sheet is attached at the end of this page). At the end of the VIVA-VOCE, all the participants were served with some snacks and cool drinks. I consider that particular event was one of the unforgettable events in my life through which I expressed and proved my skills and knowledge in front of many scholars. I am really thankful to my Project-guide Professor M. Chandrasekaran (Phone Number:+91-9843245057) for making the event a grand success. I successfully graduated post-graduation degree in the year 1999 with first-class marks and became a full-time teacher again at Siddhartha School and continued my teaching in the same school until 2003.
M.Sc., Mathematics Degree certificate.
My M.Sc., Consolidated mark sheet in which, I scored 190 out of 200, the highest score in Project & Viva-Voce in my class.
