I moved to CSI Brough Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
In 2003, I moved to CSI Brough Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Erode, where I taught Math and English to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. 80% of the 60 students in my classes were from economically poor family backgrounds and so I volunteered myself and helped them academically after school hours through free private classes. Besides teaching Math and English I taught aptitude skills to the students in order to make them prepared for the competitive examinations. I taught them how to choose the college course. While I was working at CSI Brough Matriculation Higher Secondary School, I conducted lots of awareness programs such as Aids awareness, awareness against illiteracy, awareness against drug addicts, and awareness against child labor and etc., in order to develop the service mentality among the students. I taught students how to become self-reliant and live independently. I taught them 21st-century skills as well. As it was a Christian school, besides teaching subjects I taught many spiritual uplifting morals. I started a Cultural Club and made all students take part in it to develop their skills and talents and become global citizens. I organized many cultural events such as Christmas celebrations, Children’s Day celebrations and labor-day celebrations and etc., and made my students organize the events by themselves by assigning each student responsibility in order to develop teamwork and leadership quality. Because of my effective teaching and training, our school got 100% results in the 10th and 12th-grade final examinations.
