Isaac Educational and Charitable Trust
In 2004, I started “Isaac Educational and Charitable Trust” in my father’s name in which my father Isaac was to be a President, my brother Isaac Rajkumar as a treasurer, and myself as a Secretary in order to extend my service more to the community. I raised funds from the public in our town in order to help the poor students’ education. In 2004, I helped financially and academically 25 students studying 8th, 9th, and 10th grades from government schools who were from very poor family backgrounds. Their parents were making slippers for the daily wages and some of their parents were scavengers and street cleaners. Most of those students were from the Rajajipuram area of our town. The students were completely out of support in order to continue their education. So through Isaac’s Trust, I supported them financially and academically to get a good education in my coaching center. From 2004 to 2014, I helped around 300 students by providing them with free education at my tuition center. I have conducted around 15 free summer camps for school students and dropped-out students in which I taught Math, Vedic Maths, Abacus, Science, Spoken English, Computer science, memory technique training, and some other life skills. On behalf of Isaac’s Trust, I have done more than 30 charity services to the public from 2004 to 2014. I raised funds from the public in our town to help the poor students of our town. In 2004, I raised 1500 rupees from the public to donate notebooks and stationaries for poor students. From 2005 to 2010, every year I raised approximately 5,000 rupees to help students with their education, health issues, food, and clothes.

As most of the students who attended the summer camps were from poor family backgrounds, they were unable to attend school due to their poverty and so, many of them dropped out of school. I identified and collected those students and coached them in my tuition center for the 10th and 12th grade Public Examination which is the basic educational qualification for the students of our country to get employment opportunities. From 2004 to 2008, I taught and trained 250 students for the 10th-grade public examination and 150 students for the 12th-grade public examination in my tuition center and made them take part in the public examinations as private candidates through the open school system. Out of 400 students, 90% of them got through the examinations. As most of my students whom I taught were unable to continue their higher studies because of their poor financial problems, I decided to start an Educational Institution to provide vocational education to make them get job opportunities.
